Manchester is one of our busiest stores; for its size it is possibly one of the most successful stores anywhere in the U.K! Two demonstration rooms, covering audio & video, Manchester carry many prestigious accounts, not available anywhere else in the county. Music is very much Manchester’s forte; the lads in town adore good tunes; and are passionate about all the audio & vision products they carry.
Store Manager Dave is a true audiophile, and a dedicated turntable enthusiast. He is backed up by Assistant Manager Martin, Dylan & Munir. The store may be busy, but you can always be assured of a friendly personal welcome, Major credit cards are taken, and finance is available (full details on request, including interest free) home loan / home trial (on selected equipment).

We offer free local delivery, and can courier out selected items to your home address if you are not local to us.
Service facilities are available through us, we have our own dedicated service department which can service anything from a turntable, through to the latest LCD TV sets.
From our small humble beginnings, Practical Hi-Fi has grown in to the North West's largest independent retailer of Hi-Fi and vision products. We have spent the past quarter of a century satisfying the needs of an ever increasing client base. Our first small store opened in 1982, and is now the head quarters for our company. Our stores offer something a little different from the "average" high street store; both in the goods we sell and the way that we sell them.
