The B&W Zeppelin will fill a room with crisp, deep, lifelike stereo sound. Thanks to its unique floating arm and universal docking platform, you can play any iPod on Zeppelin and control it as easily with the supplied remote.
As well as looking stunning, the Zeppelin is a 2.1 speaker system that allows you to listen to and charge your I-Pod. The Zeppelin’s elegantly shaped cabinet is a clever composite shell comprising a highly-damped constrained layer in between a stiff polymer inner-casing and a heavy stainless steel cover. This ensures the cabinet has the best strength and density possible to reduce cabinet vibration making sure the speakers only do the vibrating .
An ingenious bass adjustment control to allow you to optimise the sound to suit the immediate surroundings is also included to allow for bass equalisation should you need to reduce bass output for example if the zeppelin is used in the corner of a room where bass reflections may give problems.
Even though the zeppelin is only 25 inches wide the striking shape of the Zeppelin is more to do with functionality than looks as the tapered ends minimise upper frequency diffraction not only giving a clearer more detailed sound but enhancing the great sense of separation and stereo effect that is a failing of many compact designs.
With a 50W bass output and 25W midrange and tweeter output, the Zeppelin has ample power to deliver room filling sound. With a universal iPod connection as well as a 3.5mm jack and optical TOSlink input, you can connect many sources to the Zeppelin as well as the trusty iPod. You can even use your iPhone!
