New Rotel 06 series arrives
Just delivered....
is the new 06 series from Rotel. The range consists of a CD player, DAB tuner, three integrated amplifiers and a pre/power combination, all of which are available in either silver or black finishes.
The RCD-06 player incorporates four independent power supplies to extract as much detail as possible and uses unique metal film resistors with a new enhanced 24-bit/96kHz sampling multi-level DAC.
The 70w RA-06 uses ultra-stable toroidal power supplies. Ground paths for signal routing and power supplies are separated with copper bus bars being used for high current sections to deliver low frequency control.
The RT-06 DAB tuner offers DAB in an affordable package along with RDS FM and AM analogue reception. It features independent signal paths and power supplies to enhance broadcast performances.
The RC-06 pre-amplifier is a purist design based on a symmetrical circuit board layout and short signal paths for which the RB-06 power amplifier (70w) seems the ideal partner, forming a high performance, high-power combination. Two RB-06s can be bridged for power in excess of 180 Watts/channel or bi-amped giving additional refinement.
The 06 Series system allows for the RB-06 to be added to any of the 06 Series integrated models both as an upgrade option or when more control of the loudspeakers is required giving great flexibility and power.
All 06 Series amplifiers feature excellent phono inputs as well as a front panel media player input allowing for quick and easy connection and playback of MP3 and iPod devices.
